How the Jetour T2 export process works

Buying a Jetour T2 from China takes five steps: inquiry, proforma invoice, inspection, loading and delivery of documents. In-stock vehicles can ship within 10 working days after payment.

Step 1 — What should I include in my inquiry?

Send the model year and trim (or your budget), quantity, destination country and port, and whether you want new or used. With those four details sales can reply within 24 hours with availability and an FOB or CIF price.

Step 2 — What does the proforma invoice confirm?

The proforma invoice (PI) is the written offer. It states the exact configuration and colour, unit price, Incoterm, payment terms, the port of loading and the expected delivery timeline. Nothing is paid before you have it.

Which Incoterms do you quote?

We usually quote FOB (the price covers the vehicle delivered on board at the Chinese port of loading) or CIF (the price also covers ocean freight and insurance to your destination port). Both are defined in the International Chamber of Commerce's Incoterms® 2020 rules.

The ICC publishes the official definitions on its Incoterms® rules page; your PI always names the Incoterm and the port it applies to.

Step 3 — How are vehicles inspected?

Before loading, each vehicle is checked against the PI. You receive photos or video confirming configuration, colour and condition. Independent inspection by a third party such as SGS can be arranged on request.

Step 4 — Ro-Ro or container: which is better?

Ro-Ro (roll-on/roll-off) suits larger quantities to ports with regular car-carrier calls. Containers suit smaller orders and inland destinations: vehicles are lashed inside 40HQ containers, often on two-tier racks. We recommend the option with the lowest landed cost for your route.

Step 5 — Which documents will I receive?

  • Commercial invoice and packing list
  • Bill of lading (B/L)
  • Certificate of origin (CO)
  • Vehicle documents required by your destination, confirmed in advance

Import duties, taxes and homologation in your country are the buyer's responsibility. Check our market guides and confirm current rules with your customs broker.
